DierkeHouben Leadership Academy in Kenya
Through our partnership with DierkeHouben Leadership Advisors, we successfully implemented a week-long ‘Purpose-driven Leadership Academy’ in Nairobi, Kenya in June 2022. This is the second edition after the pilot Academy in February 2020. The Academy also marked the second fully onsite Aiducation Academy we have launched in Kenya since the emergence of Covid-19. In total, the Academy brought together 40 of our Kenyan talents as participants drawn from all over the country, and 10 international and local executives as coaches. The Academy provided a platform for the participants and executives to develop a “Purpose-driven Leadership” stance through working thoroughly on topics like:
- Reflecting on their path of life
- Understanding their crucibles and life adversities
- Clarifying their motivations, values and challenges
- Accessing and stepping into their individual purpose
- Moving from self-awareness to self-management
- Being aware of their strengths in overdrive
- Developing their Emotional Intelligence
- Envisioning their purpose-driven future self and drafting a personal action plan.

Like other Academies, this Leadership Academy especially enables the coaches to strengthen their sovereign leadership through intense onsite coaching of young talents in Kenya. It is a unique learning journey to one’s personal development as a leader:
· Inspired by a higher purpose
· In a disruptive context outside of the comfort zone
· With a perfect mix of input, reflection, and practice.
