Summer School In Kenya 2023
We are thrilled to announce that Aiducation International has kicked off the second edition of its Summer School in #kenya, in partnership with the Swiss Study Foundation, Bühler Group, and Syngenta today 27th March. This year’s Summer School will focus on the Sustainable Development Goal “No Hunger” (SDG2), bringing together 30 students – 15 from Switzerland and 15 from Kenya – alongside six young professionals from the Kenya/African context.
Over the course of the 10-day Summer School, the students and the young professionals will delve into the multi-layered topic of “Food Systems: Pathways towards sustainability”. The event is being held in Nairobi Kenya, from today 27th March, until 6th April 2023.

DAY1: icebreaking and team building session
We were honoured to have the Deputy Head of Mission of the Swiss Embassy in Kenya, Ms Manuela Leimgruber, deliver the keynote speech, setting the tone for the event. The official welcome and kick-off journey was given by Harriet Were, CEO Aiducation International Kenya, with further welcomes from Academy Host Buhler, represented by Priscilla Bakalian, Syngenta’s Felistars Obonyo, and Barbara Dankwa-Egli from the Swiss Study Foundation.
